In the campaign we can see Lee in a modern day setting, walking on a Hong Kong balcony. The film opens with Lee reflecting on a projection of an original 1971 interview, where he first spoke the words inspiring the film. He explains his philosophy and explains what inspired him to later lead to his game-changing success. He further encourages people be in tune with themselves – to express who they are and start living their dreams. The film closes with Lee speaking the words: "Because someday you’ll be more than a success. You’ll be a game changer."

The ad is being launched in China, but Johnnie Walker is planning to launch it globally. The resurrection of Bruce Lee is not the first campaign that’s been done. CGI has also contributed to resurrecting stars like Audrey Hepburn.

There are many opinions connected to Johnnie Walker’s ad starring Bruce Lee. Many people point out that the actor starring in a campaign advertising alcohol is quite scandalous since Lee was known to abstain from drinking. Lee’s daughter, Shannon Lee, who took part in production of the ad along with the director explain that this is rather a form of a short film sponsored by Johnnie Walker. Some also argue that one can see that the person shown isn’t real, but one cannot deny that the ad really is quite inspirational and well-made.
