Introducing FurryBall – a 3D renderer implemented directly into Maya 3D that has the capacity to light, rotate or change parameters in real-time in scenes that contain textures, bump maps, soft shadows, reflections, ambient occlusion, color bleeding, subsurface scattering, displacement and dynamic hair.

The FurryBall GPU renderer project was originally designed for internal use while producing "Goat Story", the first East European CGI feature film. Because of demand for FurryBall’s capabilities, the rendered is now being presented publicly.
