The newest RayFire 1.62 version introduces two new major features.

The first one is the Voxels modifier which allows to voxelize geometry and presents the user with a wide variety of properties to control and animate them. As seen in the promo video:

This feature includes:

  • Geometry voxelization
  • Voxel size, spacing and chamfer properties
  • Random position, rotation and scale variation animatable properties
  • Animated map support for position, rotation and scale
  • Row alternation and align voxels to face properties
  • Custom properties for Viewport and Render
  • Animatable voxel gizmo
  • Custom voxel shape
  • Fixed, random, by closest face and by custom node material ID and mapping
  • Only shell, only inside or both voxel types
  • Support for deformable objects

The second newest addition is the Clusters modifier feature which allows to quickly and easily combine groups of simple fragments into more complex clustered fragments. As seen in the promo video for this feature:

This feature includes:

  • Fragments clustering
  • Color and Scale preview
  • Amount of clusters and Seed properties
  • Adjustable Percentage of fragments in clusters
  • Box or Spherical point cloud gizmo
  • Fragments outside gizmo: Single objects, Continue Point Cloud, Separate fragments
  • Uniform, Relative and Max Script defined point cloud types

The new release is free for customers of RayFire 1.59, 1.60 and 1.61.
